A phrase with a missing word appears, like “HAPPY ____”.
2Say it together
When you’re both ready, say your word out loud at the same time.
3Match to win
Said the same word? It’s a match. See how few tries it takes you to reach the target.
Tips
- → Go with the first word that pops into your head. Overthinking is how you miss the obvious match.
- → Think about what your partner would say, not what you would say.
- → Try Start It once you have mastered Complete It. Working backwards is harder than it sounds.
Questions
How do you play fill in the blank with two people? +
Both of you read the same unfinished phrase, count to three and say your answer out loud at the same time. If the words match, you score. In Blank, first to five matches wins.
What is the difference between Complete It and Start It? +
In Complete It you finish a phrase, like “PEA ____”. In Start It the word is missing at the beginning, so you have to find what comes before.
Can more than two people play Blank? +
Yes. Like all Duoo games it works with 2 to 8 players on one phone: everyone says their word at once and you see who matched.
