How it works
- 1 Pick a set, or leave it on Mix. You can also paste your own cards under Your own words.
- 2 The actor taps New word and reads the card alone. Turn on hide mode to pass the phone around without peeking.
- 3 Start the round timer and act the card out without speaking. The team guesses.
- 4 Tap Guessed or Not guessed to give the point or move on, then switch teams.
Make it work at your party
- → Early evening: Resolutions and Party Moments are easy to act out and good for a mixed crowd.
- → Adults after dinner: Around the World and Movies, TV & Music take more guessing and get more laughs.
- → Couples: play one on one against the timer, best of ten cards.
- → Big groups: split into teams of 4 to 6 and rotate the actor each round.
- → Last half hour: pick Party Moments and play fast rounds until the countdown starts.

How do you play New Year’s charades? +
Split into two teams. One player gets a card, acts it out without speaking, and their team has a set time to guess. A correct guess scores a point, then the other team takes a turn.
