How to use these at the table

  1. Pick one round below. Would you rather is the safest place to start.
  2. One person reads a question. Everyone answers, going around the table.
  3. Ask for the “why”. That’s where the stories come from.
  4. Switch rounds when the energy drops. Save the kids’ questions for when the little ones start getting restless.

No pen, no paper, no cleanup. You can also pass a phone around with the free game on this page so a different person reads each time.

Tips for a good round

  1. Skip politics on purpose. Every question here is chosen to avoid it. If someone steers there, just read the next card.
  2. Let the oldest and youngest go first. Grandparents and kids usually give the best answers, and it pulls them into the conversation.
  3. Keep it short. Ten minutes between dinner and dessert is plenty. Stop while people are still laughing.
